An artistic vision shaped by a life of culture, travel and discovery.
Originally from Norway, Inger has spent much of her professional life immersed in the worlds of dance, theatre and the arts. Her international career and travels, particularly throughout Asia and China, have nurtured a deep appreciation for artistic expression, cultural heritage and the beauty of objects with a story to tell.
When she envisioned and built her house in Crete, she brought these influences together in a deeply personal project. Personally designing the interiors, she created a harmonious dialogue between contemporary architecture, carefully selected works of art and objects collected on her travels, natural elements and the extraordinary beauty of the Mediterranean landscape.
The result is a home where cultures meet and contrasts find their balance. Asian art sits alongside contemporary design, while the changing light and expansive sea views become an integral part of the experience.
The house has also attracted attention in the world of interior design, reflecting the distinctive character of a home conceived with a strong artistic vision and a thoughtful approach to living.
More than a holiday home, it is a personal sanctuary — a place to step away from the pace of everyday life, find space for reflection and creativity, and reconnect with what truly matters.
A home shaped by a life of discovery, created for those who seek beauty, tranquillity and inspiration.
The house is nestled in the beautiful landscape of Crete, surrounded by nature and offering breathtaking views of the sea. It is a place to slow down, breathe deeply and enjoy a different pace of life.
